Abhitosh Pandey is joining Zurich Kotak GI to lead its Digital Business Unit, according to a LinkedIn update from the business on Monday, 18 August.

Pandey brings more than 18 years of experience, having held senior roles at ICICI Lombard and Tata Motors. In 2023, he also co-founded and served as CEO of Watchyourhealth.com, a health-tech company focused on providing digital health solutions using AI and behavioural analytics.

“With nearly 20 years’ experience in automotive, insurance, and health tech, Abhitosh specialises in digital growth and innovation,” Zurich Kotak stated in its announcement, describing his appointment as an accelerated move to enhance the firm’s digital initiatives.

Just last week, Zurich Kotak named SBI General’s Sukesh Shetty as its Chief Operating Officer. The business also appointed Ranjit Bhargava as Head of Distribution and Sumit Gupta as Executive Vice President for Distribution, Commercial, coinciding with the launch of its commercial insurance division in June.
