AIG has announced the appointment of Chris Colahan as Regional President of AIG Asia Pacific. Colahan will join the company in the second quarter of 2023 and will report to Jon Hancock, CEO of AIG’s International General Insurance business.
Colahan has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and moves from BHSI, where he spent 7 and a half years. Prior to his current role as President of UK & Europe, he held the position of President of Australiasia for 3 and a half years. Mr. Colahan also holds a degree in Law and Commerce from Bond University, Australia.
Mr. Colahan replaces Regional President, Steven Barnett, who is leaving to pursue opportunities outside the company.
