Karlis Trops has joined Allianz Commercial as Head of Cyber & Tech PI for Asia, as announced by Jenny Wilhelm, Regional Head of Financial Lines & Cyber for Asia, in a statement on LinkedIn.
Singapore-based Trops joined Allianz after four years at AIG, where he served as Singapore Cyber Lead and Senior Underwriter for Financial Lines.
“We are thrilled to welcome Karlis Trops as our Head of Cyber,” Wilhelm said. “This appointment is a milestone in our push toward delivering our solutions to our partners and clients in this region.”
Before his tenure at AIG, Trops worked at Chubb in London for over ten years, where he held various roles, including Senior Technology Underwriter, Technology Underwriter, and Senior Internal Auditor – Underwriting Specialist.
