Allianz Malaysia has launched Allianz SheSecures, a career development programme aimed at empowering women in the insurance sector. The initiative, introduced in conjunction with International Women’s Day 2025, provides participants with leadership training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to support professional growth.

Allianz SheSecures is designed to equip women with industry knowledge and skills necessary to advance in their careers, with a particular focus on developing female agency leaders. The initiative aligns with Allianz’s broader efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across its workforce and leadership structure. Currently, women account for 57% of employees, 46% of leadership roles, and 59% of agency leaders within Allianz Asia Pacific.

“Allianz SheSecures reflects our commitment to empowering women by providing them with the resources, support, and opportunities needed to thrive,” said Sean Wang, Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Malaysia. “By fostering a strong community of like-minded women, we create an environment where they can inspire, grow, and succeed – both professionally and personally, driving long-term success and greater inclusivity.”

The programme extends beyond Allianz’s internal workforce, welcoming women from diverse backgrounds, including fresh graduates, full-time mothers re-entering the workforce, corporate professionals transitioning into insurance, and aspiring entrepreneurs. As part of the initiative, participants can access the Allianz C.E.O. Programme, which offers financial support during the early stages of their careers.

To further support recruitment and engagement, Allianz Malaysia recently hosted the Allianz SheSecures Self-Discovery Evening on 11 March 2025 in Bukit Jalil. The event provided prospective participants with insights into career opportunities within the insurance industry and highlighted Allianz’s commitment to gender inclusivity.

The launch of SheSecures in Malaysia follows Allianz Asia Pacific’s recent #IWD2025 collaboration in Singapore under the theme ‘Empowering Women, Securing Futures.’
