Aon has appointed Oliver Miloschewsky as Head of Shipping, Asia, as announced by Stephen Rudman—Aon’s Head of Marine for Asia—on LinkedIn.
Miloschewsky joined Aon from Nexus Underwriting, where he served as General Manager for Hong Kong and Head of Marine, Asia. He brings with him extensive industry experience, with a background in Average Adjusting, Insurance, and Technology, and degrees in Law, Insurance, and Maritime & Logistics Management.
Miloschewsky will report directly to Rudman, who commented on the appointment: “Oliver brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His passion for ‘Hull and P&I’ is evident from his early days exploring engine rooms to adapting to the changing landscape of data and technology.”
Miloschewsky’s career includes roles including APAC Client Development Director at specialty insurer Concirrus; Head of Hull & Yacht, APAC at AXA XL; and National Portfolio Manager, Marine at IAG. He has also held positions at MunichRe and Zurich.
In addition to his corporate roles, Miloschewsky is a Founding Partner of PeopleStories Foundation, a non-profit organisation established in 2017 which has a focus on education in Cambodia and Asia.
