Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has appointed Cheryl Tan as Head of Marine Claims for Asia Middle East, the company announced in a statement on LinkedIn.
Tan brings extensive industry experience to the role. In her last insurance role, Singapore-based Tan worked for Canopius Group, where she served as Head of Claims, Asia Pacific for over two years.
Prior to Canopius, she worked for Swiss Re as Head of Claims for Southeast Asia and Catlin Singapore as a Senior Claims Adjuster, according to LinkedIn.
“Cheryl combines technical expertise with a strong emphasis on delivering first-class claims service to her customers,” says Tim Collier, Head of Claims, Asia Middle East. “As someone who I’ve had the pleasure of working with before, I know she’ll be a fantastic addition to the team.”
