Charles Taylor has appointed Viknesh Sheekar as a director in its Asia regional hub, according to a media release published Tuesday.

Sheekar joins the company after over six years at Sedgwick, where he most recently served as a director, having previously worked at Crawford & Co and Cunningham Lindsey.

In his new role, Sheekar will work with Charles Taylor’s regional teams and clients to support capabilities spanning natural resources, construction and engineering, machinery breakdown, public and product liability, product recall, fine art and specie, and marine risks.

He reports to Mathew Hessian, Singapore country manager and client and business development director, Asia.

“Viknesh’s addition to the Asia team further strengthens Charles Taylor’s expertise in handling complex and high-severity losses while reinforcing its long-term commitment to the market,” Hessian said.
