Chubb has appointed Lorna Latorre as Head of Travel for Asia Pacific, placing her in charge of the insurer’s travel insurance business across the region.
In the role, Latorre will be responsible for leading regional strategy, with a focus on expanding partnerships and advancing Chubb’s go‑to‑market approach in travel insurance.
Latorre brings experience spanning travel technology and insurance, with a strong track record of building customer‑centric travel insurance solutions. Previously, she worked at Amadeus IT Group across various roles for more than 17 years.
Her appointment follows key appointments for the insurer in APAC in recent months. In February, the insurer made two key leadership appointments in its legal and compliance team: Jin Lee as executive vice president and general counsel, global life and general insurance, and Mark Eggleton as senior VP and general counsel, legal strategy and government affairs.
Subsequently, Chubb promoted Richard Bracken to head of strategic partnership development, APAC, Japan, and international digital, effective 1 March.
