Crawford & Company (Australia) has promoted Simon Chenery to national executive adjuster in its Global Technical Services (GTS) team in Brisbane.

Chenery first joined the company in 2024, and most recently served as an executive adjuster. Before joining Crawford, he worked in a similar role with Charles Taylor Adjusting.

Chenery has more than 30 years of experience across the UK and Australia, having worked in roles focused on managing large and complex losses. He also worked in numerous loss-adjusting roles at firms such as McLarens, Miller Pycraft, Gallagher Bassett, and Sedgwick.

Crawford said the announcement is part of its efforts to build “depth and leadership” across its national team. It also follows other recent appointments by the firm, including the promotion of Joel Arbuthnot to lead GTS and the appointment of Hanne Topland as a marine surveyor.
