Dennis Tang has joined Coastal Marine as Underwriter for Marine Hull and Cargo, the managing general agent (MGA) announced on LinkedIn.
Based in Hong Kong, Tang has returned to Coastal Marine following a two-year stint with AXA XL, where he served as Underwriter for Marine Cargo. He first joined Coastal Marine back in 2020-2022 in a similar role.
With over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tang brings his expertise in Cargo & Hull underwriting to the new role. In his career, he has worked at Hong Kong-based firms, including SART Underwriting Limited and Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance, among others.
“We are thrilled to welcome back Dennis Tang to the Coastal Marine family as Underwriter Marine Hull and Cargo,” the company announcement read, adding, “Having previously worked with us in Hong Kong from 2020 to 2022, we are confident that his return will significantly strengthen our capabilities with a particular focus on cargo and enhance the services we provide to our clients.”
