Specialty managing general agent (MGA) DUAL has promoted Stewart Eaton as Head of Liability for both Australia and New Zealand, the business announced Tuesday (13 May).
Eaton has been the Head of Liability at DUAL New Zealand since April 2024 and is broadening his role across two countries.
Bringing over two decades of experience in the UK and London, Eaton will focus on ensuring alignment, scalability, and competitiveness of general liability products.
Eaton previously held roles in crisis management, product recall, and underwriting at ARK Syndicate Management, Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty, Castel, Sagicor at Lloydโs, and AIG.ย ย
Speaking on the appointment, CEO of DUAL ANZ Damien Coates said: โStewart brings a mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and a genuine ability to connect with people, these are qualities that make him perfectly placed to lead our Liability portfolio across Australia and New Zealand.โ

Earlier this year, the MGA announced Marc Karapanovic as Cyber Lead and Damian Browne as Deputy General Manager for New Zealand.
