Edward dai appointed as gm of prudentials macau office

Edward Dai has been appointed as the General Manager of Prudential Hong Kong Limited’s Macau office, succeeding Chris Ma following the latter’s retirement.  

Dai first joined Prudential in 2013, holding several senior positions at Prudential Group and Prudential Hong Kong. Before joining Prudential, he has also worked for several insurers, including AXA Hong Kong and Macau, Manulife, Sunlife Financial (HK), and Aviva, among others. 

Dai brings 20 years of industry experience to his new role. He will also join the Prudential Hong Kong Executive Committee, reporting to CEO Lawrence Lam.  

Commenting on his appointment, Dai shared: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to enhance Prudential’s growing presence in the territory and contribute to the expansion of our business across the wider Greater Bay Area. Moving forward, my focus will be on cultivating an agency force in Macau to help enhance Prudential’s service excellence and achieve our strategic ambitions.” 

“Edward’s demonstrated success in driving business growth and strategic insight, together with his vast experience and established leadership, makes him an excellent choice to spearhead our ongoing expansion locally…With Edward at the helm, I am confident that our Macau branch office will achieve new milestones,” Lam commented on Dai’s appointment.
