Generali Malaysia has announced two key leadership appointments, naming Soo Wai Har as the new Chief Executive Officer of Generali Life Insurance, and Lee Chee Fooi as Chief Distribution Officer of Generali Insurance.
Soo succeeds Rebecca Tan, who has been named as President Director & Chief Executive Officer of PT Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia.
She brings over two decades of insurance industry experience to the role and before her appointment had been serving as Chief Commercial Lines Officer at Generali Insurance Malaysia.
“Known for her dynamic leadership and deep industry knowledge, she has spearheaded innovation and operational excellence across various roles in Finance, Sales and Marketing, Distribution, and Operations,” Generali said in its announcement.
Lee also brings a wealth of experience in the general insurance industry, having served in senior leadership roles across diversified distribution channels and insurance agency networks. Prior to his appointment, he was Chief Agency Officer at Generali Insurance Malaysia.
