Charles Williamson has been appointed as the new CEO of Victor, Marsh’s managing general underwriting company.
Williamson will assume the position on August 1st and will report to Martin South, Marsh’s President and CEO. He takes over from Brian Hanuschak, who was appointed Chairman of Victor.
“Victor’s advanced technology and innovative approach to matching risk, distribution, and capital, is second to none,” said Williamson.
“I look forward to leading Victor’s exceptional global team as we continue to build industry-leading underwriting programs and insurance solutions for our distribution partners,” he added.
Williamson has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including senior positions at AIG. Most recently, he served as Co-Founder and CEO of Vault, a managing general agency and reciprocal insurance exchange catering to high-net-worth individuals.
In his new role, Williamson will be responsible for overseeing operations for all of Victor’s companies in the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and Australia.
“(Williamson) is an outstanding leader with deep underwriting, distribution, and product development expertise,” said South.
“Under his leadership, Victor will be well-positioned to support carriers and agents around the world with cutting-edge digital distribution and underwriting platforms.”
