Sören Kruse and Niall Mulvey have been promoted to expanded L&H leadership roles at Hannover Re, with Kruse as Head in Southern & Eastern Asia and Mulvey as Head in Greater China, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Kruse has been with Hannover Re for over 11 years and has held roles in its Hannover, Kuala Lumpur, and Johannesburg offices. His most recent role was director of Hannover Re’s Malaysia operations.
Mulvey has been with the company for over 15 years, having worked for the company’s Dublin operations before focusing on the Asian operations. Most recently, Mulvey took on the role of Principal Business Lead, L&H Asia.
Both Kruse and Mulvey will be reporting to Claude Chèvre and Brona Magee.
Commenting on his appointment, Kruse said, ” Southern and Eastern Asia’s incredible diversity and growth potential inspire me every day. I’m humbled by the opportunity to lead and learn alongside our talented teams and look forward to supporting our clients’ growth ambitions.”
Meanwhile, Mulvey expressed his excitement: “I am delighted to work together with the truly exciting Greater China teams and am really looking forward to partnering with the diverse range of local clients in building solutions and creating value.”
In addition to Kruse and Mulvey, Hannover Re also announced the promotion of Raphael Rimelin, who will lead France and MENA.
