Hélène Heas and Davis Ng have joined Texel Asia as brokers in its Singapore office, the credit and political risk broker announced on Wednesday (4 Sep).
Heas is joining Texel after an almost 10-year stint with Coface, where she most recently held the role of Regional Head of Financial Institutions for APAC.
Heas brings over 15 years of industry experience to her new role. Before coming to Asia, she spent six years of her career in France, working for companies like CIC Bank and Crédit Agricole CIB, both in Paris.
“Texel is a leader in the credit insurance market,” Heas said on her appointment. “I am looking forward to using my experience of being both on the client and insurer side to ensure Texel remains a trusted partner,” she added.
Ng joins Texel after serving as the Executive Director at Arcor Capital. He brings almost 15 years of experience in financial services and investments to his new role.
During his career, Ng has spent time working with firms both in Singapore and in Hong Kong. He has taken roles in structured finance and private credits with companies like SMBC, GE Capital, and ANZ Bank.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Texel Asia, a company renowned for its specialist knowledge and in-depth expertise,” Ng shared, adding, “Texel’s reputation for collaboration and excellence is unmatched, and I look forward to working closely with Angela and the team to drive the growth in the Asian market.”
Both Heas and Ng will report directly to Texel Asia’s Managing Director, Angela Chang.
“Hélène and Davis are fantastic additions to our Singapore team… I am confident that our unique Texel blend of creativity, innovation, and expertise will further accelerate our growth in this market,” Chang shared in the announcement.
