Howden has strengthened its Asia Pacific team with the appointment of Bozidar Ljubisavljevic as Executive Director for their Marine business.
Ljubisavljevic will be based in Singapore and brings with him 22 years of marine insurance industry experience, having joined Howden in 2019 in Dubai as the Regional Marine Practice Leader for the Turkey, Middle East, and Africa region.
Prior to joining Howden, he spent nearly 9 years at Marsh across various marine positions, including as the Regional Marine Practice Leader for the Middle East and North Africa. He also worked in the Marine Practice at HSBC Insurance brokers, in Cyrpus and London, from 2002 to 2010.
On the appointment, Julian Franzman, Executive Director and Head of Marine, Cargo & Stock Throughput, Asia Pacific, said, “Bozidar has a track record of putting clients first and adding significant value to their insurance purchasing process across Hull & Machinery, Protection & Indemnity, Marine Liability, Cargo, and related insurances.”
