Tune Protect Malaysia has appointed Louise Lee as its chief executive officer, effective 1 July 2026, the digital insurer announced on Wednesday.

Lee joins the group’s Malaysian general insurance subsidiary from Chubb Insurance Malaysia, where she most recently served as head of consumer lines and digital. In that role, she oversaw the insurer’s consumer business across motor, accident and health, and specialty personal lines.

She brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, with expertise spanning consumer insurance, business strategy, product development, distribution management, digital business, sales and marketing, and partnership development.

Before joining Chubb in 2015, Lee spent 11 years at AIG, where she held several senior leadership positions, including head of partnership marketing and head of direct marketing.

Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, Tune Protect said, “Lee’s industry expertise, customer-focused approach and leadership experience would support the company’s continued growth and transformation in Malaysia.”

The appointment follows the departure of Rohit Nambiar, the group’s Chief Executive Officer, who stepped down from the position in April due to personal reasons.
