Joyce Cheong has been named QBE Insurance Singapore’s new Head of Claims, People & Asset Risk, the company announced on Linkedin.
Cheong has been with QBE for nearly three years and was serving as Claims Manager for Accident & Health and Motor before her promotion.
In her new role, Joyce will oversee the claims process and framework of both onshore and offshore claims teams. She will be responsible for managing all people-related risk claims, including accident, health, workers’ compensation, and injuries, as well as asset-related losses such as property, motor, and engineering damages, QBE said.
With 17 years of industry experience, Cheong has worked with numerous insurance firms in Singapore. She worked for HSBC Insurance, Great Eastern, and Singlife before joining QBE Insurance.
