Liberty Specialty Markets has appointed Dipam Pandit in the newly created role of Head of Broker Distribution for Asia, the company announced in a statement on LinkedIn.
The new responsibilities come in addition to Pandit’s existing role as Head of War and Terrorism for Asia Pacific, the speciality insurer added.
Singapore-based Pandit has worked for Liberty Specialty Markets since 2019 and previously served at Liberty International as a Senior Underwriter. Prior to Liberty, he gained industry experience at Jardine Lloyd Thompson and Gallagher.
Liberty now has more than 20 commercial and specialty product lines in Asia, with the insurer stating that Pandit’s experience and depth of knowledge “will help broking partners and clients navigate our full offering.”
