Lawrence Poh has been appointed regional facility and voluntary benefits leader for Asia at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB), according to a LinkedIn post by Geoffrey Grace, head of placement Asia, on Monday.
In the newly created regional role, Poh will lead the development and execution of MMB’s facility and voluntary solutions strategy and client value proposition across Asia. A key focus of his remit will be the development and execution of a multi-year voluntary solutions roadmap spanning individual health, life, and general insurance offerings for employees and their dependents through corporate clients, Grace said.
Before assuming the role, Poh served as business strategy and planning leader for Asia at Mercer Marsh Benefits, a position he has held since 2022. Poh will continue to support the MMB Asia leadership team in a lead coordination capacity alongside his new responsibilities.
Prior to joining the company, he worked at Aon as a senior bid manager. His earlier experience includes roles at Great Eastern Life, ST Engineering, and EY.
“Lawrence brings 20 years of experience across insurance and professional services, with deep strengths in regional strategy, client proposition design, and market intelligence across Asia,” Grace said. “I’m excited to have him step into this new role and look forward to the impact he will make for our clients and our teams across the region.”
