Milia Xystros has been named as Head of Crawford & Company’s Third-Party Administration in Australia, the company announced on Tuesday, September 3.

Based in Sydney, Xystros joins Crawford Australia after three years with Procare Group, where she served as Executive Manager of Claims. There, she handled Lloyd’s Syndicate and local underwriting, casualty, financial lines, and property claims.

In addition to a law degree, Xystros brings over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry to her new role. Through her experience, she has gained expertise in claims handling, litigation management, dispute resolution, vendor management, operational support functions, risk and compliance, continuous improvement, and quality assurance.

For 10 years, Xystros worked for various private practice law firms that focus on public liability, CTP, self-insureds, and property claims. Following this, she spent 11 years with IAG before working for Procare Group.

“I am very confident Milia will take our TPA business to a new level of client satisfaction; she has outstanding credentials and a proven track record of operational excellence,” Australia President Jonathan Hubbard said, welcoming Xystros to the company.

Commenting on her appointment, Xystros said, “Crawford has been a supplier to various organizations for which I’ve worked. I have come to know Crawford as a strategically led organization that values its people and is fully focused on supporting its clients to deliver the best possible outcomes.”
