Miller has expanded its Sporting and Events offering into Asia Pacific with the strategic appointment of Siva Krishnan as Head of Sports and Entertainment, Asia.
The specialty (re)insurance said the appointment forms part of its broader growth strategy and that the expansion into APAC will see a regional sports and entertainment focus on Live Events, Sporting Events and Tours, Sport Associations, and Film and TV.
Krishnan has over 25 years of expertise in the sports and events industries and has worked as an independent sports business consultant for the past three years. His previous positions include roles at the Singapore Sports Council and ESPN STAR Sports, with his experience involving insurance buying and the provision of insurance clauses in contracts.
