MOG Digitech Holdings Limited has completed a strategic investment in insurtech Luckyins Technology Co., Limited, the HKEX listed fintech company announced in a media release on 5 October .
Luckyins Technology develops AI-based modular solutions designed to streamline insurance sales, operations, finance, and after-sales processes. It also provides blockchain-driven digital payment systems tailored for insurers and brokers in Hong Kong.
MOG Digitech announced in its release that the partnership aims to enhance system interconnection between insurers and brokers through digital tools. The company added that the collaboration will enable “the insurance industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency in transaction, payment, reconciliation, and settlement processes.”
The investment also supports MOG Digitech’s broader strategic push into Web3 insurance, which aims to integrate blockchain, digital assets, and smart contracts into insurance operations.
Both firms intend to use these technologies to address long-standing inefficiencies such as slow settlements, opaque services, and high administrative costs.
Funds raised in this round will reportedly be used to expand Luckyins Technology’s global digital platform and strengthen its market presence in Hong Kong, with plans to extend into Macau, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia in the future.
The deal follows a series of recent moves by MOG Digitech, including its co-investment with BAI Capital and GSR Ventures in the stablecoin payment platform KUN, the execution of Asia’s first stablecoin insurance commission payment, and a strategic partnership with King Sun Life Insurance to develop digital insurance services globally.
Through these initiatives, MOG Digitech continues to build its position in Hong Kong’s growing insurtech landscape.
