NRMA Insurance has signed a partnership with the One Stop One Story (OSOS) Hub, becoming the first insurer to collaborate with the cross-sector platform.
Under the partnership, NRMA Insurance will facilitate customer referrals to support services and provide training modules tailored for these services, according to the company statement.
Julie Batch, CEO of NRMA Insurance, said the collaboration with the OSOS Hub aligns with the insurer’s efforts to support customers facing domestic and family violence or financial hardship, saying “We are focused on identifying and supporting customers impacted by domestic and family violence or financial hardship and taking a leading role to help eliminate financial abuse.”
The OSOS Hub, an initiative by Thriving Communities Australia (TCA), connects individuals experiencing financial hardship or domestic and family violence with support from corporate, community, and government service providers.
Ciara Sterling, CEO of Thriving Communities Australia, said the hub seeks to improve access to essential support services through cross-sector collaboration.
“The One Stop One Story Hub is a long-term solution that reduces the barriers to accessing support. It would not be possible without cross-sector collaboration, and we welcome NRMA Insurance to our network of partners, who have united for a common cause,” she said.
