Liberty General Insurance in India has announced the appointment of Parag Ved as its new Director and CEO, effective September 20th 2023.
Ved brings with him nearly two decades of expertise within the insurance sector. He joins from Tata AIG General Insurance, where he held the role of President of Consumer Lines, and fills the role left vacant by the retirement of former CEO Roopam Asthana.
Defne Turkes, President – Asia Retail Markets at Liberty Mutual Insurance, welcomed the newly appointed Ved, saying, “[Ved’s] vast experience and his visionary approach uniquely position him to lead the future of Liberty General Insurance in India.
