Prudential (Cambodia) Life Assurance has named Tola Ponlu its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), from 1 May. He takes over from Sanjay Chakrabarty, who transitioned to the CEO role at Pru Life UK in the Philippines in February.
Prudential Cambodia has experienced strong growth over the past 11 years, and Ponlu will be responsible for continuing the business’s upward trajectory by enhancing customer service and experiences in Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar, Prudential said.
Ponlu brings over a decade of experience in the life insurance sector. He joined from Dai-ichi Life, Cambodia, where he was CEO. Prior he spent seven years with Manulife Cambodia, most recently as Assistant Vice President, Chief Agency Officer.
