WTW has announced the appointment of two key senior leads for its Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) team in Asia, with Rupert Roberts named as Head for Southeast Asia and Christine Lau promoted to Head of Singapore for CRB.
Both appointments are effective as of January 2 2024.
Roberts joined WTW a year ago as Chief of Staff for CRB, Asia. In his new role, he will drive the growth of WTW’s Southeast Asia business, working closely with country leaders in Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam and the company’s partners in Malaysia and Thailand.
Prior to joining WTW, Roberts worked at Aon for nearly a decade and his industry experience includes time across Europe and Asia Pacific, with significant expertise in retail, wholesale, and specialty segments.
Lau, who has been promoted from the role of Head of Client Services in Singapore, brings 25 years of industry experience to her new role, including the last six years at WTW and time at Marsh and Aon prior.
In her new position as Head of CRB Singapore, she will lead the expansion of services across the large accounts, specialty, and industries segments.
