Sedgwick on Thursday (23 May) announced the appointment of Sophie Henderson as Partner for its forensic accounting services team in Australia.
Henderson brings over 14 years of experience in forensic accounting, with expertise in complex economic loss claims for both insurance and litigation. Sedgwick said in its announcement that she has managed major and complex business interruption claims for sectors including manufacturing, mining, refining, construction, energy, freight, hospitality, retail, warehousing, and recycling.
Kimberley Daley, Sedgwick’s Executive General Manager of Professional Services in Australia, commented, “[Henderson’s] background in handling economic losses for multimillion-dollar first party insurance claim—including stock and contingent business interruption, subrogated recoveries, reinsurance and commercial litigation—will benefit the work we do in Australia as we continue to grow our offerings and support demand for forensic accounting services in the market.”

Sedgwick’s forensic accounting team in Australia includes over 35 accountants, practising in seven offices throughout the country, with experience in sectors ranging from construction and manufacturing to cyber and retail.
