Seth Peller has been named as CEO of Marsh McLennan Hong Kong and Macau, pending regulatory approval, the business announced in a statement on LinkedIn on Wednesday (Dec 11).

Alongside his new remit, Pellar retains his current duties as CEO of Marsh McLennan Taiwan. As part of the move, he will relocate to Hong Kong to take on his expanded responsibilities following the exit of Rohan Bappu, who will move to Howden later this year.

In his expanded role, Pellar reports to Svein Tyldum, CEO of Marsh McLennan, North Asia and will oversee Marsh McLennan’s four businesses—Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Mercer, and Oliver Wyman—across the three regions.

“Seth’s extensive experience and exceptional leadership will be invaluable in fostering collaborative efforts across our businesses and teams in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau as we support our clients in the ever-evolving landscape of risk, strategy, and people,” Tyldum said.

Peller brings over 30 years of industry experience to his new role, working for firms in North and South America, the UK, and Asia. Before joining Marsh in 2019, he worked in senior and leadership roles for firms such as Willis Towers Watson and JLT Indonesia.
