Texel Group has named Jamie Stork as associate director and Brandon Woo as broker in Asia Pacific, the credit and political risk insurance broker announced in a media release on Friday, 10 October.

Stork was appointed on 22 September, and Woo will join on 3 November. Both report to Angela Chang, Texel Asia’s managing director, and operate out of Singapore.

Before joining Texel, Stork worked at Marsh for eight years, including as Vice President for its Structured Credit and Political Risk unit. Meanwhile, Woo spent nearly seven years at WTW as a broker and about two years as a Financial Planning Consultant at AXA.

Commenting on the appointments, Chang welcomed Stork and Woo, saying: “This makes Texel Asia one of the best resourced broker teams in this specialist insurance sector.”
