Acenda Life has strengthened its leadership team with the appointments of Ross Miller as chief commercial officer (CCO) and Lisa Green as group chief people and culture officer, supporting the next phase of its Australian integration and growth strategy.

Miller first joined Acenda Life in February, serving as group chief people and culture officer. Before this, he worked at Westpac Group, where he held multiple roles over his 25-year stint with the company, most recently as a general manager. He also held managerial positions at St.George Bank.

He brings extensive industry experience across banking, customer, distribution and people leadership. As CCO, Miller will lead Acenda Life’s Australian commercial teams across insurance, wealth and retirement solutions.

Miller will succeed Sean McCormack, who led the commercial division through the early stages of the integration between Acenda Life and Resolution Life Australasia after Nippon Life completed its acquisition of Resolution Life in October 2025.

Chris de Bruin, who was appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of Acenda Group in 2015, said: “Ross has made an exceptional impact since joining Acenda Life earlier this year. He brings more than 20 years of commercial and customer leadership experience across complex financial services businesses.”

Green will succeed Miller, effective immediately. She joins from oOh!media, where she most recently served as chief people and culture officer. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Citigroup and J.P. Morgan in Sydney and New York and also worked at the Australian Securities Exchange.

Green brings over 30 years of human resources experience across Australia and the USA, spanning financial services, listed companies and media. In the role, she will lead Acenda’s people and culture agenda through the next phase of integration and transformation.

“Lisa brings a wealth of experience across various industries that will be invaluable as we continue to build an integrated, high-performing and people-centred culture across Australia and New Zealand,” De Bruin stated.

The CEO also commented on the life insurer’s integration in Australia, saying that the group “is making strong progress towards a simpler, digitally enabled operating model”. He added that the appointments bring together the commercial, customer and people capabilities the life insurer needs for its next phase.
