Thomas Lillelund appointed CEO of Allianz Commercial and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty

Lillelund is set to join in early 2025 from AIG, bringing with him extensive international experience.

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS) announced on Monday (16 September) that Thomas Lillelund will join the business in the global roles of CEO of AGCS and CEO of Allianz Commercial.

He is set to join the group in early 2025, subject to regulatory approval and the conclusion of his existing commitments.

Lillelund is currently the CEO of AIG Europe, Middle East, and Africa and will bring over 25 years of industry experience to Allianz, including international experience from time worked in the UK, Singapore, South Africa, the United States, as well as Europe.

His previous roles include ten years at Aspen Re, where he served as CEO, and positions at Gen Re and Swiss Re.

[Lillelund] is known for driving profitable growth, for building cultures focused on clients and underwriting integrity, and for developing high-performing teams.
