Zurich Kotak General Insurance has announced the appointment of Abhishek Choudhury as the National Head and Vice President for SME & Institutional Alliances.
Choudhury brings over two decades of industry experience to the new role and joins from Neo Insurance Broking, where he was Senior Vice President.
“With over 20 years of global experience in risk management and insurance broking, Abhishek brings a proven track record in direct corporate and SME business,” Zurich Kotak said in a statement on LinkedIn. “With his expertise at leading general insurance companies in India, we look to drive innovation and create a brighter future together,” the business added.
Prior to his time at Neo Insurance Broking, Choudhury was at SBI General Insurance, in roles such as Head of Bancassurance for SME & Direct Corporate, Zonal Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager, according to LinkedIn.
Choudhury’s career includes two stints at Bharti AXA General Insurance and time at Reliance Broadcast Network Limited.
