Marsh has appointed Mark Heneghan as its global sales leader for energy and power, Amy Barnes, the company’s head of energy and power, and head of climate and sustainability strategy, announced in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday.
Heneghan has been with Marsh for 19 years, most recently serving as its growth leader for energy and power. Previous roles at the business include Middle East and Africa Leader for energy and power, and onshore construction leader for energy and power, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In his new role, Heneghan will be “instrumental in driving innovation and growth for [Marsh’s] clients,” according to Barnes.
Heneghan’s appointment comes amid recent key appointments by Marsh in the region. Last month, the business announced that James Addington-Smith, the current President of Marsh Asia, would become the CEO of Marsh UK in early 2026, with Marsh McLennan Asia CEO David Jacob taking on the expanded responsibilities of President of Marsh Asia.
