Marsh Asia has appointed I-Mei Chan as senior client advisor of its credit specialties team, based in Singapore, Mark Wong, the company’s managing director for credit specialties, Asia, announced on LinkedIn on Monday.

Chan brings more than 20 years of experience as a banking executive, specialising in trade finance, loan syndication, and risk management with previous stints at HSBC, Deutsche Bank, and Raiffeisen Bank International AG.

In her new role, Chan will work closely with the broker’s regional leadership and client teams “to strengthen its advisory capabilities and deepen client relationships,” according to Wong.

“I look forward to working with Mark Wong and the broader credit specialties team, partnering with clients across the region on complex credit, trade, and risk solutions in an increasingly volatile environment,” Chan said in a separate LinkedIn post.

Chan’s move to Marsh Asia follows the company’s recent appointment of Tonya Williamson as affinity leader for Asia.
