Gallagher has named Adam Sullivan as chief executive of specialty for Asia, the global broker said in a media release on Monday. Alongside his new responsibilities, Sullivan will continue as CEO for Gallagher’s aerospace practice across Asia-Pacific.
He brings more than 30 years of insurance experience to the role, having joined Gallagher in 2019 through the business’s acquisition of JLT Aerospace, where he had worked since 2011.
In his new role, Sullivan will lead the specialty team in Asia and support clients in sectors such as energy, marine, heavy industry, mining, property, and financial lines, while overseeing the firm’s growth among large corporate clients in the region. He reports to Sarah Lyons, CEO of specialty at Gallagher.
“Adam has both regional and international experience and is the ideal person to lead Gallagher’s speciality operations into the new phase,” Lyons said. “He is a great people leader and this internal appointment demonstrates the breadth of talent we have within our team.”
