Howden has appointed Jennifer Tiang as its new regional practice lead, financial lines, Asia, the business announced on LinkedIn on Monday.

Tiang joins from Willis Towers Watson, where she most recently served as regional head of cyber practice – Asia. She is a qualified lawyer with over 13 years of experience in risk and insurance client advisory and a wealth of expertise in digital and technology risks, cybersecurity, and corporate risk solutions. She has had prior stints at Tokio Marine and Marsh.

In her most recent role, Tiang was “instrumental in the end-to-end establishment of the cyber specialism, successfully scaling it into a market-leading regional practice,” according to Howden.

“Jennifer’s unique perspective, combining legal rigor with a forward-thinking approach to technology, will be invaluable as we continue to help our clients thrive amidst an increasingly complex risk environment,” the company said in a statement.

Tiang’s move follows Howden Asia’s announcement last week of Cheryl Yi Min Poon’s designation as director in its multinational client practice in Singapore.
