Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance has appointed Nicolas de Nazelle as acting chief executive officer, replacing Knattapisit Krutkrongchai, effective immediately and subject to regulatory approval.
De Nazelle has been with AXA Group since 2009 and has held a range of finance leadership roles at both the global and regional levels. Since January 2026, he has served as chief executive officer for Southeast Asia and Korea. Additionally, De Nazelle has also been a member of the Krungthai-AXA Life board of directors since 2023 and has likewise contributed to the joint executive committee between Krungthai Bank and AXA.
He brings over 19 years of industry experience. Prior to joining AXA, he held mergers and acquisitions-related analyst roles for firms such as LCF Rothschild and Marsh.
Krutkrongchai will become CEO at FWD Thailand in May.
