HDI Global Singapore has appointed Tecky Liu, Edward Leong, and Serena Lee as senior underwriters, according to a LinkedIn post on 20 March.
Liu joins the company after working at Marsh for over seven years, most recently serving as vice president in Singapore. She brings over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, also working for a firm in Beijing.
Leong moves from Allianz Insurance Singapore, where he was an underwriter for over two years. Bringing 16 years of industry experience, he previously held underwriting roles at ERGO Insurance Singapore, Allied World, and Tokio Marine Insurance Group (Asia).
The hires come amid a broader round of senior appointments at HDI Global, including David Wilson as global head of claims for energy and power, Mark Mackay as global head of energy and power, Yasuyuki Harada as general manager, distribution and marketing, and Haris Michaels as head of energy and power, Eastern Region, in Singapore.
