Willis has appointed Albert Andrew as its new financial, professional, and executive (FINEX) leader for Southeast Asia, the WTW business announced on LinkedIn on Thursday.
In his new role, Andrew will oversee the FINEX business across the region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, and support the execution of the broker’s regional strategy by providing deep specialist expertise and market insights to its clients.
He has been with Willis since 2023, his second stint at the company, and brings more than 15 years of industry experience, including at PWS and Gallagher, as well as his first stint at WTW from 2011-2016.
“Andrew brings extensive financial lines experience and is well regarded for his technical expertise, commercial judgement and collaborative approach,” Willis said. “Working closely with the FINEX team in Southeast Asia, his leadership will further strengthen our ability to deliver tailored and robust solutions to support organisations as they manage evolving financial, executive, and professional liability risks.”
Andrew’s appointment is the latest in Willis’s wider APAC personnel moves in the first quarter of 2026, including another key appointment in the FINEX team when Eden Fletcher was named head of Pacific.
Other appointments by the broker include Michelle Ng as head of risk and analytics for Pacific, Mareli Vermeulen as Asia head of M&A, Jess Li as director of P&C in Hong Kong and Macau, and Steve Hutchinson as head of corporate risk and broking Hong Kong and Macau.
