Australian managing general agent Fusion Specialty has appointed Stephen Fox as chief financial officer, the business announced on LinkedIn on Wednesday.
Sydney-based Fox joins from Moneytech, where he served as CFO and helped build a standalone lending platform. He brings extensive experience across financial services, with a strong background in lending, capital strategy, finance transformation, and the development of technology-enabled finance functions.
“Stephen will play a key role in supporting Fusion’s global growth ambitions,” the MGA said in its announcement.
Fusion Specialty was launched in 2018 as a transaction‑lines‑focused MGA and is part of POP Group Holdings. It has expanded from its Australia and New Zealand base into Asia, the US, Canada, the UK, and parts of Europe.
Earlier this month, the company launched a Japanese subsidiary, led by Steven Harwood and Satoshi Omura.
