Marsh has appointed KT Koo as chief executive officer of Marsh Korea, effective 1 April 2026, the global broker announced in a statement on LinkedIn on Wednesday.
Koo has worked at Marsh for the past five years, his second stint at the business having previously worked there between 2000 and 2019.
Between his two stints at Marsh, Koo worked at Meritz Fire and Marine Insurance. His previous experience also includes time at KB Insurance.
His promotion comes with Marsh announcing a series of key appointments in Asia-Pacific this year, including Marcus Piristi as head of energy for Pacific, Noelene Palmer as Pacific COO, and the promotion of Jason Mandera to CEO of Marsh McLennan Indonesia.
