Nicholas Cook has been elected vice president of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII).
Cook serves as executive general manager for Australasian networks and broker and insurer services at Steadfast Group, where he has worked since 2015.
He brings extensive industry experience, having also previously held senior distribution and proposition roles at Zurich Group.
Commenting on his election, Cook said: “I look forward to working with colleagues from around the world to strengthen collaboration, share knowledge and support better outcomes for clients and communities.”
The appointment comes as Steadfast continues to reshape parts of its underwriting agency operations. Last month, The Miramar Group, owned by Steadfast, combined seven underwriting agencies into a single brand to streamline broker services and broaden access to specialised insurance products.
