Lockton has appointed Joe Leung as senior vice president of business development in its people solutions team in Hong Kong, the broker announced on Wednesday.
Prior to joining Lockton, Leung worked at Bupa Asia, most recently serving as head of business development. She has also held senior roles within global insurance brokers and insurers, working with multinational and local clients across a range of industries.
Leung brings over 15 years of experience across the insurance, employee benefits and healthcare sectors, with expertise spanning claims management, client servicing, consulting, corporate risk advisory, business development and sales leadership.
In her new role, Leung will support continued growth of Lockton’s people solutions business in Hong Kong, deepen insurer and intermediary relationships, and expand strategic client partnerships, to support organisations as they navigate the healthcare, wellbeing and workforce benefits landscape.
Yuman Chan, chief growth officer for people solutions in Asia, said, “Joe’s extensive industry experience, strong market relationships and growth-oriented mindset make her an excellent addition to our People Solutions team in Hong Kong.”
Leung’s appointment follows a series of hires by Lockton across Asia, including Victoria Yow as head of people solutions, Sandra Lee as chief growth officer of risk solutions, Asia, and Yuman Chan as chief growth officer of people solutions for Asia.
Earlier this year, the broker also appointed Nicholas Lee as CEO designate of Malaysia and Jaideep (Jay) Sharma as CEO of India.
