HDI Global SE has appointed Viola Lee as head of claims for its Hong Kong branch, effective 8 June, the firm announced on Monday.
Lee joins after working at Marsh Risk for over six years, most recently as a senior claims advocate. Before this, she also worked at QBE Hong Kong & Shanghai, where she was most recently head of specialty claims.
“Bringing over 15 years of experience across leading international insurance firms and brokers, Viola has built a strong track record in technical claims management, claims operations, and operational transformation within the insurance industry,” the company said in its announcement.
The announcement follows other recent appointments made by HDI Global across its APAC businesses. James Zhan was recently hired as senior risk engineer in Hong Kong, while Diane Chong was named senior underwriter for downstream energy in Singapore.
