Charles Taylor has promoted Andrew Milne to managing director of its Australian business, the firm announced on Monday.
Based in Sydney, Milne steps into the role from his position as director of natural resources at the loss adjuster. He brings more than 11 years of loss adjusting experience with Charles Taylor, with a special focus on natural resources, heavy industry, onshore energy, mining, power generation and engineering.
“Andrew has extensive experience in complex claims and a strong understanding of both our Australian business and the clients we support,” Stephen Thorpe, managing director of Charles Taylor Asia, said.
“It is an exciting time for Charles Taylor, and Andrew is well placed to lead the next stage of the Australian business’s development, while providing continuity for our clients and teams,” he added.
Milne’s appointment comes after Charles Taylor hired Viknesh Sheekar as a director in its Asia regional hub earlier this year, with Sheekar tasked with handling complex claims across the region.
