WTW has named Kelsie Makepeace, its former carrier management leader for Asia Pacific, as head of strategy execution for its International business, the broker announced on LinkedIn on Monday (28 September).
Makepeace was based in Hong Kong from 2022 to 2026, managing WTW’s strategic agreements with its key insurer partners and running its broking operations, first for Hong Kong and later for Asia.
She moved to Dubai in March to lead the execution of placement strategy for the broker’s Dubai International Financial Centre business, and she remains there in this role.
She first joined WTW for its graduate programme in London in 2017, then worked in its GB carrier management team before moving to Hong Kong in 2022.
“With a journey that has taken her from our graduate scheme in London to business roles in Hong Kong, and now Dubai, Kelsie brings a unique combination of global perspective, strategic leadership, and operational excellence,” WTW said.
The broker has also reshaped its Hong Kong leadership in recent months. In August, it named Jayne Bok head of Hong Kong and Macau, a week after it hired Bruce Tsoi from Marsh to lead property and casualty there.
