Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has appointed Jaci Eng and Jon Grossman as co-heads of property for Asia Pacific, the specialty insurer announced on Tuesday.
Based in Singapore, Eng has been with TMK since 2014, most recently serving as a property underwriter. Prior to that, she worked at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE and Federal Insurance Company.
Grossman, also based in Singapore, has been with Tokio Marine Kiln for almost three years, most recently holding the role of underwriter for property, power and onshore energy in Asia Pacific. Earlier in his career, he worked at Chubb, Liberty Specialty Markets (Asia Pacific) and Allianz Australia.
“Together, they bring complementary strengths that position our Property business for its next chapter, ” the insurer said on LinkedIn, adding that they are well placed to lead the business and build on opportunities across the APAC market.
The appointments follow a series of hires by TMK last year as the insurer sought to strengthen its offering in the region, including the appointment of Phoebe Liew as special risks underwriter and Jack Skinner as head of political violence and terrorism for Asia Pacific.
