Wai Khong Chen will join Zurich Hong Kong as Head of Property, Commercial Insurance, the insurer said in a company announcement on Linkedin.
He joins from Allianz and will relocate from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong for the new role, which officially commences on 13 May.
Chen’s decade in the general insurance industry has equipped him with a comprehensive underwriting, claims handling, and portfolio management skill set.
He joins after four years at Allianz, where he served most recently as Regional Property Underwriter for the Asia Region. Prior to this, Chen developed his industry expertise through time at Lonpac Insurance, MPI Generali Insurans, and MSIG.
